The "It's time for a drink" lamp is a unique piece, intentionally crafted with real materials to provide a substantial weight and authentic feel. The lamp is built around two brass repurposed water meters that have been painstakingly ground down with a grinder to expose their original lustrous brass. Providing a distinct and rustic foundation, the base is a whiskey and wine aging barrel that has been cut in half. A functional clock is intricately inlaid into the face of the lower water meter for added utility. The lighting is controlled by the repurposed valves: turning the lower valve clockwise illuminates the bottle stand section of the lamp, while turning the upper valve clockwise illuminates the top of the lamp.
